Front Desk Professional - Pooler | Dogwood Pediatric Dentistry

Dogwood Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This role is the first point of contact for our patients and families, setting the tone for a positive dental experience. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced pediatric dental environment.

• Greet patients and families warmly upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

• Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.

• Assist patients with scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments.

• Provide clear instructions regarding paperwork, insurance, and office policies.

• Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity when handling patient information.

• Verify and update patient records accurately in the dental software system.

• Collect payments, process billing, and provide receipts as needed.

• Assist with insurance verification and claims submission.

• Maintain an organized and clean reception area.

• Support clinical staff with daily office operations as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous experience in a dental or medical office is highly desirable, pediatric experience a plus.

• Strong computer skills and experience with dental software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, etc.) preferred.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain calm under pressure.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Typical hours: Monday – Friday
