SAP ABAP Consultant (S/4HANA – OTC, P2P, FICO)

Role: Senior SAP ABAP Consultant (S/4HANA – OTC, P2P, FICO)

Location: Newark, CA

Duration: 6 Months

Start Date: Immediate / ASAP

Core Responsibilities

1. Develop and enhance S/4HANA APIs (OData/REST) for sales order, delivery, and billing (create/change/update flows)
2. Build and support RICEFW objects with strong focus on performance and scalability
3. Implement and troubleshoot user exits, BAdIs, and enhancement points for OTC, P2P, and FICO processes
4. Design and optimize CDS Views and HANA-based data models
5. Handle middleware integrations (CPI/MuleSoft/Workato) including data mapping and message structures
6. Support data migration, replication, and master data enhancements (Customer, Vendor, Material)
7. Develop and maintain output forms (Adobe Forms/SmartForms) and output determination logic
8. Implement pricing enhancements (requirements, routines, condition techniques, alternate calculations)
9. Debug and resolve production issues with quick turnaround
10. Collaborate with functional teams to deliver end-to-end technical solutions across OTC, P2P, and Finance

Required Skills

1. 10 years of SAP ABAP experience, with strong S/4HANA exposure
2. Hands-on experience with:
3. RAP, SAP APIs (OData, REST, S/4 standard APIs)
4. CDS Views and HANA optimization
5. Enhancement techniques (User exits, BAdIs, implicit/explicit enhancements)
6. Strong integration experience with middleware platforms
7. Deep understanding of OTC, P2P, and FICO processes
