Job description:
Diagnose mechanical issues and malfunctions in landscaping and grounds equipment and vehicles. Identify the root cause of problems and implement effective repair solutions. Change tires as needed. Perform regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on landscaping and ground equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, leaf blowers, and other related equipment. Ensure all equipment is in optimal working condition to support daily operations. Maintain departmental fuel storage supplies and comply with associated regulations. Maintain and repair vehicles used in our department including trucks, utility vehicles, street sweeper, and trailers. Ensure all vehicles are in optimal working condition to support daily operations. Conduct routine checks on engines, brakes, tires, and other vehicle components to ensure they meet safety standards.
