Responsibilities
- Install and maintain irrigation systems, including sprinklers, drip lines, and valves.
- Assess irrigation needs for different landscapes and gardens to determine the best watering solutions.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to build and repair irrigation components.
- Dig trenches and prepare sites for installation of irrigation systems.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on existing irrigation systems to ensure efficiency.
- Troubleshoot issues with irrigation systems, making necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to coordinate watering schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed on each project.
Experience
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or lawn care is preferred.
- Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while performing physically demanding tasks.
