Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on various systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
- Perform minor carpentry work, such as building shelves or repairing furniture.
- Install and repair fixtures, appliances, and equipment as needed.
- Utilize tools effectively, including an ohmmeter for electrical testing.
- Respond promptly to service requests and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area during and after job completion.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients professionally.
- Must possess an ohmmeter for electrical testing purposes.
- A valid driver’s license may be required depending on job assignments.
