Sales Person

MAK Design Build is looking for a full-time Sales Person to serve as the first point of contact for homeowners considering a remodel. 

You will be responsible for managing incoming leads, conducting in-home consultations, and developing design agreements and proposals that align with each client’s needs. As relationships develop, you will stay connected through consistent follow-up and communication, working closely with the design, marketing, and production teams to ensure a smooth transition into the project phase. You will also participate in community and networking events, helping to build long-term relationships that support the continued growth of the company.

We are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in people and takes pride in listening well and communicating clearly. You should be comfortable guiding conversations, asking thoughtful questions, and helping clients make informed decisions. A strong sense of organization, personal accountability, and follow-through is important, along with a curiosity about remodeling, design, and construction. Previous sales experience is not required, though 3 years of experience in residential remodeling (or a related industry) is expected.

You will be supported with structured onboarding, ongoing coaching, and weekly Sandler-based sales training, as you develop toward independent selling. Compensation begins with hourly pay between $38/hr-$42/hr during the onboarding period and transitions to salary with a commission structure when independent selling begins.
