Job Overview
MAJR Products Corporation is looking for dedicated full-time Welding & Fabrication candidates to help us keep up with U.S. Military and Secure Infrastructure demands for our unique RF shielding products.
We're looking for candidates that are willing to learn new things and work with their hands to help support our production team. New hires will be expected to weld, grind, buff and solder metal materials used to make our shielded waveguide panel products.
We work 4-10s, first shift only Monday through Thursday with the occasional Friday overtime shift as needed.
Duties
- Perform TIG welding to fabricate metal waveguide frames and panels according to specifications.
- Read and interpret manufacturing & technical drawings to determine project requirements.
- Have knowledge of how to operate a variety of metalworking fabrication equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices to ensure precise dimensions.
- Assist with mechanical assembly, machining, soldering, and the use of forklifts when necessary.
Experience
- Welding, fabrication and manufacturing background strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in TIG welding and metal fabrication.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and technical drawings required for fabrication tasks.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
