Job Description
Majors Plastics Inc, a 100% employee-owned plastics molding company is looking for a Customer Service Representative. Our Customer Service Representative will serve as a primary contact and resource person for customer placement of purchase orders, delivery status inquiries, quality issues, pricing information, and any other customer-related issues.
Position Responsibilities
- Receive input on order requirements via phone, fax, or mail.
- Review orders for accuracy, pricing, and delivery requirements.
- Generate initial purchased goods sales order.
- Submit sales order to scheduling.
- Coordinate JIT activities with specific customers.
- Establish economic run quantities on JIT and blanket order items with scheduling, manufacturing, and material services personnel.
- Maintain customer correspondence (files).
- Coordinate communication between customers and appropriate Majors personnel.
- Advise customers of pricing changes via fax, phone, or written notifications.
- Distribute customer-generated documentation to appropriate Majors personnel.
- Maintain appropriate aged inventory levels of finished goods as well as their inventory turnover rates.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
