Salary: $60k-75k
Location: Onsite, Lawrenceville, GA
The primary purpose of the Staff Accountant is to perform various account analysis, variance analysis, and support the month-end process. This position also posts various journal entries and will perform bank and account reconciliations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviews and reconciles various balance sheet accounts monthly and annually
- Responsible for assessing accuracy of various revenue and expense accounts monthly
- Supports bank reconciliations with review/investigation as needed
- Review lease data and analyze revenue variances
- Assist with month end closing tasks as well as year-end closing
- Participate in other projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
- Critical thinker capable of initiating process improvements
- Exhibits initiative and ability to work independently
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
