Majorelle is seeking a warm, gracious and sophisticated Maître D’. This is a managerial role with associated responsibilities. Qualified candidates will be able to consistently promote and demonstrate positive guest relations and must have a strong interest in food and wine. Night and weekend availability is required. As the Maître D’, you will be the face of Majorelle orchestrating an unparalleled dining experience through seamless guest relations, team leadership, and service excellence. Core responsibilitiesGuest relations: Greet and welcome guests, set the tone for their experience, and ensure their satisfaction throughout the meal.Reservations and seating: Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and satisfaction.Staff supervision: Oversee and supervise waitstaff, ensuring they adhere to service standards and training them on procedures.Kitchen and staff coordination: Liaise with kitchen staff regarding specials and menu changes and coordinate with servers on special requests.
