Position Details
Position Title: Branch Manager - Manufacturing & Distribution Branch
Location: Camilla, GA
Reports To: President
Employment Status: Exempt / Salaried
Salary Range: $125K to $150K
Supervises: Branch leadership, production, warehouse, sales, and administrative personnel
Position Summary
The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, operational performance, and profitability of a manufacturing and distribution branch. This role has full accountability for branch operations, including production, inventory management, sales and business development, financial performance, personnel leadership, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance. The Branch Manager establishes and executes branch goals aligned with company strategy, ensures efficient and safe operations, develops high-performing teams, and protects company assets while driving sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Management
• Provide overall leadership and direction for all branch operations
• Recruit, train, develop, and retain employees
• Conduct performance evaluations and enforce company policies, ethics, and safety standards
Operations & Production
• Oversee manufacturing, repair, and distribution activities
• Coordinate production planning and workflow
• Ensure maintenance of facilities and equipment
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Financial & Asset Management
• Develop and manage branch budgets and P&L performance
• Control operating expenses and manage inventory and purchasing
• Oversee vendor relationships and protect company assets
Sales, Marketing & Business Development
• Lead branch sales and business development efforts
• Maintain key customer relationships
• Approve pricing, bids, and support collections
• Resolve escalated customer issues
Compliance, Safety & Risk Management
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Enforce safety programs and investigate incidents
• Maintain required documentation
Strategy & Continuous Improvement
• Collaborate with executive leadership on growth initiatives
• Monitor industry trends and participate in company-wide initiatives
• Pursue ongoing professional development
Qualifications
Education & Experience
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred
• Experience with customer service and problem-solving
• Significant management experience in manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environments with full P&L responsibility
• Understanding of line shaft turbine, centrifugal, and submersible pumps is a plus
