We’re hiring experienced CNC machinists for second and third shifts to perform custom machining from setup through production. You’ll be part of a high‑engagement culture with market‑leading pay, an optional 4/10 schedule, and quarterly bonus potential.
What you’ll tackle
- Read and apply blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, routings, and specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, operational sequence, and setups.
- Choose and secure workholding; innovate with risers, angle plates, and other standard tooling to achieve rigid, repeatable fixturing.
- Set and refine speeds/feeds, depths, and angles of cut to hit quality and cycle targets.
- Continuously monitor machine behavior; detect malfunctions/out‑of‑tolerance conditions and adjust machine controls/control media.
- Inspect against print and router using precision metrology; record results and complete first‑piece inspection for multi‑part runs.
- Maintain a clean, orderly machine area daily.
- 2 years trade school, vocational education, or apprenticeship.
- 3–5 years CNC machining experience.
- Strong shop math, general machining know‑how, precision measurement, blueprint reading, and GD&T literacy.
- Experience with part and tool probing.
- High‑speed machining background preferred (16–27k RPM).
- Role‑specific process/equipment expertise may be required.
- Siemens 840D familiarity is a plus.
- Positive, dependable, and deadline‑driven.
- Clear communicator with peers, engineers, and leaders.
- Consistent attendance and strong work ethic.
