Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group has an immediate need for an Interim Corporate Securities Paralegal for a long term temp-to-perm role.
Overview: Our client is seeking an Interim Corporate Securities Paralegal to support entity formation and management, board administration, annual meeting preparation, and a variety of governance-related tasks.
Company: Our client is a leading North American financial services institution.
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, with a proven background in financial services required.
Location: 2–3 days per week onsite at the NYC office
Responsibilities Include:
- Board & committee support: Prepare agendas, materials, minutes, resolutions; maintain corporate records and minute books; manage D&O questionnaires.
- Subsidiary governance: Maintain domestic/international entity calendars, filings, reorganizations, formations/dissolutions; liaise with providers.
- Filings & disclosures: Support corporate/secretary filings and routine governance certifications. Looking candidates with FR Y-6 in particular.
Qualifications Include:
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience; financial services background required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with GEMS preferred; tech-savvy and comfortable with new systems overall.
