Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group needs a full-time contract, AGC-Corporate Generalist.
Overview: Our client is seeking a full-time corporate generalist attorney to cover a five-month medical leave.
Company: an innovative, multi-faceted Family Office Firm uniquely qualified to serve the diverse demands of high-net-worth clients
Experience: 5 years of general corporate experience with previous in-house experience
Location: Hybrid with flexibility - candidate must live within a commutable distance to the Manhattan Office
Responsibilities Include:
- Client is looking for a strong corporate generalist with a minimum of five years of experience, with at least some time spent in-house
- They will support the client by providing general advice in the following practice areas:
- General Investment Advice
- Commercial Finance
- Loan management
- General tax guidance
- Commercial Real Estate
Additionally, we’d love it if you have:
- Knowledge of, or experience with single-family offices (SFOs)
- Strong corporate generalist with previous in-house experience
Qualifications Include:
- 5 years of relevant experience with some in-house tenure
- Familiarity with a broad range of corporate law, to include:
- Financial planning & advice
- Loan Structuring
- General Tax Guidance
- General commercial RE experience
- Advise the family regarding travel & entertainment expenses reporting
- Experience with a single-family or an embedded/Multi-Family office will be a plus
- Availability to cover for the GC when she is out during the upcoming holidays
- Experience and comfort with working in a hybrid work environment
