We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Orthopaedic Surgeon to join the Major Health Partners (MHP) team. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive musculoskeletal care, with an emphasis on general orthopaedics, joint replacement procedures, and the management of acute injuries. The ideal candidate is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
The Orthopaedic Surgeon will evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of conditions, including degenerative joint disease, traumatic injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Responsibilities include performing surgical procedures such as total hip and knee replacements, as well as managing fractures through both operative and non-operative approaches. In addition to clinical and surgical duties, this position includes participation in a shared Emergency Department (ED) call schedule to ensure timely care for acute orthopaedic cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive general orthopaedic care
- Perform hip and knee joint replacement procedures
- Diagnose and manage fractures and other acute musculoskeletal injuries
- Participate in shared Emergency Department (ED) call coverage
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Minimum Qualifications:
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Fellowship training in joint replacement preferred, but not required
- Active or eligible for medical licensure in the state of Indiana
