Major Food Group is hiring a Marketing Associate to join our growing Marketing team!
Major Food Gorup is a New York based hospitality company founded by Mario Carbone, Rich Torrisi and Jeff Zalaznick. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overall Marketing Support
- Update company websites with menu updates, new content, and promotions.
- Conduct marketing research, identify trends, and report findings.
- Perform competitive analysis to benchmark company activities against industry standards.
- Support the development of presentations and marketing materials for internal and external use.
- Maintain a detailed task list and ensure timely execution.
- Track and measure campaign performance, create and update internal dashboards.
- Maintain and update email marketing database.
- Community Management / Social
- Research social trends and monitor competitors; recommend strategies to improve digital presence.
- Community Engagement support
- Track and analyze performance metrics for internally run social media accounts; report key insights to supervisors.
- Coordinate meetings and draft correspondence with potential collaborators, purveyors, PLUs (people like us)
- Assist in social media grid planning.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience managing social media accounts (Instagram and Facebook preferred)
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail
- Ability to perform basic graphic and video editing (Canva, Figma, Adobe Suite, or equivalent)
- Self-motivated, organized, capable of working independently
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Occasional attendance to live events
Compensation: $25.00 - $28.00 hourly based on experience
