About the Job - Construction Foreman
Major Builders, Inc., is searching for a construction foreman to join our organization. This position is an integral part of our team, and you will oversee a wide range of responsibilities. Qualified candidates should be experienced in the following:
Essential Responsibilities
· Commercial construction experience preferred or relatable experience
· General carpentry work including layout, concrete, framing, drywall, interior finishes, doors/hardware
· Ability to read drawings, plans and specifications
· Monitors construction work according to schedules & plans
· Coordinates crew members & subcontractors general and daily responsibilities
· Coordinates materials and equipment on job site
· Reports progress to Superintendent and Project Manager(s)
· Ensures job site safety precautions and quality standards are met
· Resolve problems when they arise
Working Conditions
· Travel to jobsites
· All season, inside and outside work
· Typical 40 hour workweek Monday-Friday with occasional night/weekend/overtime shifts
