Job Overview:
The Head of Operations will be responsible for managing and streamlining the operational processes for imports, inventory, and logistics. This leadership position will involve overseeing the teams that handle all aspects of product movement, from the moment goods arrive at our warehouse to their delivery to customers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain management, operational efficiency, and team leadership, with a strong background in fashion logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Management:
- Lead and mentor the Imports, Inventory, and Logistics teams to ensure efficient operations, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Set clear performance goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and develop strategies for staff development and training.
Imports Management:
- Oversee the timely and cost-efficient importation of goods from international suppliers to ensure that delivery timelines are met.
- Ensure compliance with all customs regulations, tariffs, and international trade laws.
- Collaborate with external partners, suppliers, and freight forwarders to manage international shipments.
Inventory Management:
- Direct the planning, ordering, and forecasting processes to ensure accurate and sufficient inventory levels.
- Implement inventory control systems and processes to track product movement, reduce discrepancies, and avoid stockouts or overstocking.
- Work with the merchandising and sales teams to align inventory levels with product demand forecasts.
Logistics Optimization:
- Oversee the entire logistics process from warehousing to distribution, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to retail partners and customers.
- Develop and implement strategies to streamline shipping, reduce costs, and enhance delivery speed while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Partner with third-party logistics providers and warehouse teams to enhance operational performance.
Operational Strategy & Continuous Improvement:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop operational strategies that support business growth and efficiency.
- Analyze key performance metrics (KPI’s) to identify areas for operational improvements and cost savings.
- Lead initiatives to enhance systems, technologies, and processes for better visibility and control across operations.
Budget Management & Cost Control:
- Develop and manage the budget for operations, including logistics, inventory, and imports, ensuring that all areas operate within financial constraints.
- Continuously assess cost structures and seek opportunities to optimize spending without compromising service levels.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in operations management, specifically within the fashion or retail industry.
- Proven experience leading teams across imports, inventory management, and logistics functions.
- Strong understanding of global supply chain management, customs processes, and logistics best practices in the fashion industry.
Skills & Competencies:

- Advanced knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., ERP systems, WMS).

Salary Disclosure:
Majesty Brands is committed to offering a compensation package that reflects the qualifications and experience of the individual. The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. While the posted salary range is $125,000-$200,000, we recognize the value of exceptional talent and are open to negotiation for the right candidate.
