We are seeking a skilled PCB Repair Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair printed circuit boards (PCBs) for a variety of electronic devices. The ideal candidate will have experience in soldering, reworking components, and using diagnostic tools to ensure the functionality and reliability of circuit boards.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair PCBs, including component-level troubleshooting and replacement.
- Perform soldering and desoldering of through-hole and surface-mount components.
- Use diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
- Read and interpret circuit diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Perform functional testing and quality assurance to ensure board integrity.
- Maintain and organize tools, workstations, and documentation.
- Follow industry standards and safety protocols in all repair procedures.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve complex PCB issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or technical degree preferred).
- Some Experience in PCB repair, troubleshooting, and soldering preferred.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and soldering equipment.
- Strong knowledge of electronic components and circuit design.
- Ability to read schematics and work with minimal supervision.
- IPC certification (IPC-7711/IPC-7721) is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
