About Us
Majestic Lighting designs and installs landscape lighting and holiday lighting for homes and businesses across Texas. We're adding dependable independent contractors in the Houston area (Houston, Sugar Land, Cypress, Katy, The Woodlands and nearby) to install new systems, put up Christmas lighting this season, and handle maintenance calls on existing systems. The Work
- Install low-voltage landscape lighting: path lights, uplights, well lights, transformers, and wire runs
- Install and take down holiday and Christmas lighting on rooflines, trees, and landscaping
- Maintenance and service calls: troubleshoot dead fixtures, replace bulbs and fixtures, repair wire, and adjust timers and transformers
- Leave every property clean and treat customers well, since you're working at their homes
Pay
- $150 per day for the contractor
- $125 per day for each helper you bring to a job
- Paid as a 1099 independent contractor
What You Need
- Hands-on experience installing low-voltage landscape lighting
- Your own reliable truck
- Your own tools and ladders
- Comfortable working on ladders and rooflines during the holiday season
Good to Have
- Experience with Christmas or holiday lighting
- A helper or small crew you can bring along
- Experience troubleshooting transformers and wiring
The Honest Part
Holiday season (October through January) is fast and physical. You'll do roof work, long days, and work in the Houston weather. If you're reliable and do clean work, there are steady installs, holiday jobs, and maintenance calls all year.
