MORE ABOUT THE JOB

The Installer is responsible for the professional installation of stone countertops, including granite and quartz, at customer locations. This role requires physical strength, precision, and a strong commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely lift and transport materials weighing 50 lbs to and from job sites
• Install countertops, sinks, and hardware accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with Install Coordinator, Fabrication Facility, and Install Manager to meet deadlines
• Inspect completed installations and resolve any issues on-site
• Document completed work by taking and submitting photos
• Perform field fabrication and repairs (chips, scratches, adjustments) as needed
• Drill holes and install top-mount and under-mount sinks
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
• Follow all jobsite safety requirements and builder/contractor standards
• Represent the company professionally in appearance and customer interactions

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1–3 years of related industry experience preferred
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/CORE COMPETENCIES

• Strong communication skills with customers, vendors, and team members
• General knowledge of granite fabrication and installation processes
• Ability to read measurements, interpret layouts, and ensure precise installations
• Strong attention to detail, especially with seams and color matching
• Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills preferred
• Experience using hand tools, polishers, and grinders
• Ability to safely lift up to 200 lbs with a partner
• Responsible for proper care and use of company tools and equipment
• Commitment to maintaining cleanliness, safety, and quality standards
