Registered Dental Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered dental assistant to join our team at Majestic Dental in the Woodlands. We are a private-owned modern dental office devoted to delivering exceptional dental care, with outstanding patient experience in a state-of-the-art environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, and pediatric treatments.
• Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, maintaining aseptic technique and infection control standards.
• Take digital dental X-rays, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed.
• Perform dental charting and recordkeeping, including updating patient records with treatment information in compliance of HIPAA regulations.
• Educate patients on oral health care instructions and post-treatment care.
• Maintain dental supplies inventory and sterilize instruments according to infection control guidelines.
• Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and updating medical records as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth clinic operations and exceptional patient service.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting with knowledge of general dentistry procedures.
• Certification or licensing as a Registered Dental Assistant is required or pending licensure approval.
• Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Previous experience supporting four-handed dentistry is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Open Dental Software is a plus.
