What are the responsibilities and job description for the Skid/Pallet Builder (Carpenter) - 1st shift position at Majestic Custom?

What You Will Do:
- Build Skids:Builds skids and pallets according to Majestic Steel and/or customer specifications, operate lift trucks to transport, store, and stage materials within the service center
- Maintain Safety:Perform daily lift truck inspections, move up and down from lift truck, and report any equipment issues
- Support Team Efforts:Work collaboratively with team to meet goals, contribute to housekeeping procedures, and complete additional job-related responsibilities as assigned
Who We Are Looking For:
- Experience:Experience with hand tools, including up-cut saw & circular saw
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to follow processes & procedures, and effective communication skills.
- Physical Requirements:Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds, mount & dismount equipment, capable of walking, climbing and bending for periods of time, and be comfortable working in hot and cold atmospheres depending on weather conditions
What Makes You Stand Out:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of lift truck operation experience
- Lift truck experience handling heavy loads (10,000 pounds or more)
