Position Overview:
The Central Supply Clerk maintains accurate inventory of all items located in central supply and in each nursing unit.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect and fill supply requisitions and deliver to the unit.
With supervisor’s approval, order supplies from designated vendors.
Receive supply shipments and route packing slips to appropriate department heads. Maintain an organized and neat storage area.
Maintain accurate inventory records.
Must demonstrate empathy, courteous, kind and professional workplace behavior and customer services to all residents, care team members, vendors, visitors and family members at all times.
Attends all mandatory in-services; and completes timely all necessary Relias trainings scheduled to perform.
Keeps abreast and/or discusses with supervisor or manager all necessary policies, procedures and business practices within the scope of the position held to effectively perform all duties assigned.
Qualifications:
One year experience in shipping and receiving.
High school diploma or equivalent, required.
