Position Overview:
The Beautician/Cosmetologist will provide high quality, personalized salon services to our residents in our comfortable, on-site salon. You will assist residents in feeling their best while building meaningful relationships in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide haircuts, styling, shampooing and grooming services to residents.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of salon equipment and space
Schedule appointments and manage service records
Communicate with nursing staff to coordinate resident care
Uphold infection control and safety standards
Foster a friendly, respectful, and comforting environment
Qualifications:
Valid state cosmetology license
Prior experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and with compassion
Familiarity with infection control procedures
