What You'll Do
Our MA will play an important role in the day-to-day care of our hormone, weight-loss, and wellness patients. This position works closely with our Nurse Practitioner and clinical team to ensure patients receive exceptional care, communication, and follow-up throughout their treatment.
Responsibilities include:
- Seeing and caring for weight-loss patients according to established protocols and provider-directed treatment plans
- Supporting patients throughout their weight-loss journey through education, follow-up, and ongoing communication
- Serving as a primary point of contact between the Nurse Practitioner and patients regarding laboratory results, treatment recommendations, and follow-up
- Contacting patients with lab results and provider recommendations and ensuring appropriate follow-up
- Performing lab draws
- Communicating patient questions, concerns, and changes in condition to the Nurse Practitioner or appropriate provider
- Administering injections and medications as directed and within scope of practice
- Obtaining vital signs, health histories, and other clinical information
- Assisting with patient intake, assessments, documentation, and chart preparation
- Collecting, processing, and coordinating laboratory testing
- Reviewing patient information and preparing relevant findings for provider review
- Providing patient education regarding provider-directed treatment plans, medications, labs, and wellness recommendations
- Assisting providers with hormone, wellness, and aesthetic procedures
- Monitoring patients during and following treatments and reporting concerns promptly
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Helping maintain a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming clinical environment
- Following all safety, infection-control, medication-handling, and regulatory standards
- Providing an exceptional patient experience from check-in through follow-up
Training
Experience in office setting preferred, will train the right candidate .
