Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Video Editor with strong DaVinci Resolve experience to support post-production across commercials, branded content, and cinematic storytelling projects. This is a contract, per-project role with the potential to grow into a full-time position as demand increases.
This role is focused exclusively on editing, with the potential for color grading and finishing depending on skill. You will work closely with directors and producers to bring projects across the finish line with a polished, brand-consistent, and cinematic look.
Key Responsibilities
· Edit commercial and branded content (mainly .R3D RED RAW format) using mainly DaVinci Resolve Studio (via cloud based, collaborative projects)
· Potentially perform color correction and basic color grading consistent with brand standards (depending on experience level, may request to leave projects un-graded)
· Sync and manage multi-camera footage and audio
· Deliver clean, organized timelines for final approval and export.
· Collaborate with creative leadership to refine pacing, tone, and visual storytelling
· Meet project deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
Qualifications
· Strong proficiency in DaVinci Resolve Studio preferred
· Solid understanding of editing fundamentals, pacing, and visual storytelling
· Preferred experience also with color correction and grading workflows
· Preferred experience with at least light VFX/Animation work.
· Ability to follow creative direction and deliver consistent results
· Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working on a per-project basis
