Paraeducators work closely with teachers to provide extra support to
students.
Paras working in ****Structured Learning (SL)**** classrooms will assist
students who need intensive support and predictable, consistent routines
throughout the school day. Many of these students are on the autism
spectrum. The educational focus is on language, communication and social
skills along with self-help, sensory integration and academic skills.
Some form of toileting is very common for all ages. All health and
safety precautions are followed.

- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Are strong team players
- Possess basic computer and math skills
- Must enjoy a fast pace environment
- Can spend 80% of their day standing and 20% walking Time is spent

- Maintain regular and acceptable attendance/punctuality
