Role Description
The Merchandising Internship with Maisonette will support our hybrid merchandising team with all areas of their operation: vendor management, product information management, launch processing, communications and special projects as assigned.
Our Merchandising team works with a global and diverse set of vendors to bring Maisonette customers a curated, trendy and premium selection online. There is so much to be gained from this team - we hope to meet you soon!
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Vendor Management: Assist in communication with vendors, specifically; product inquiries & updates as need be.
- Product Information Management: Help maintain accurate and up-to-date product information in our database, ensuring consistency across all platforms. Inclusive of updating & maintaining product integrity like retail updates, markdowns, imagery & another requests from the vendor to maximize the PDP.
- Track and Launch Process: Support the tracking of product launch timelines, ensuring timely and efficient execution of new product uploads to our website. Act as the liaison between marketing & vendor to share out relevant editorials & tag products for upcoming campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Sophomore year or above
- Must be able to receive credit through your university
- Must permanently reside and work in the US (ideally able to come in to the New York City office on a hybrid schedule, but will consider remote interns as well)
- Studying or interested in Merchandising and Buying
- Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Suite
- Ability to commit to 6-10 weeks part time starting JUNE 1st
- Strong Organizational skills with keen attention to detail
