Role Overview
Maison Lotan is looking for a highly organized, versatile right hand to work directly with the founder across every pillar of the company, from entrepreneurial ventures and publishing to design & development at Any Studios. This is a hands-on operations and project management role for someone who thrives on structure, moves easily between creative and business contexts, and keeps multiple workstreams on track at once. You'll be the reliable point of contact holding it all together, coordinating vendors, managing client communication, and keeping internal operations running smoothly. This is a freelance, hourly engagement based out of our Tribeca office, with flexibility for remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with the founder across all pillars of the company, including entrepreneurial ventures, publishing, and design & development, keeping initiatives moving from concept to completion.
- Support Any Studios, our digital development company, coordinating dashboard and branding projects for high-end tech clients.
- Manage and coordinate external vendors, freelancers, and collaborators, ensuring deliverables stay on scope, on budget, and on schedule.
- Own client communications, serving as a clear, professional point of contact and keeping relationships warm and responsive.
- Handle internal operations: calendar and scheduling, daily check-ins, task tracking, and keeping projects and priorities organized.
- Oversee project workflows, timelines, and resource allocation across concurrent initiatives.
- Support content, publishing, and storytelling efforts, ensuring each project stays true to its cultural narrative.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and help the company run more smoothly as it grows.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in project management, operations, or a chief-of-staff / right-hand capacity.
- Background in or genuine affinity for creative industries such as hospitality, art, design, or publishing.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple initiatives and shifting priorities.
- Strong communication skills across client, vendor, and internal contexts.
- Comfortable working independently, taking ownership, and anticipating needs before being asked.
- Fluency moving between creative and business/operational modes.
- Tech-comfortable, able to pick up tools for scheduling, project tracking, and light design/dev coordination.
