Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support kitchen staff.
- Maintain cleanliness of the food prep area, including counters, sinks, and storage spaces.
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables and assisting with general restaurant cleanliness during service hours.
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Ensure all kitchen areas are sanitized regularly and adhere to sanitation protocols.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices.
- Experience with food preparation techniques such as basic cooking or plating is a plus.
