Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role based in New York, NY, for a Spring/Summer Special Events Intern. The intern will support the team by assisting with event coordination, customer service, and various behind-the-scenes planning logistics. Duties include maintaining detailed event schedules, ensuring proper delivery and setup of tabletop items, providing exceptional client service, supporting event-specific sales efforts, and helping to meet the needs of event planners, designers, and the sales team. This role also involves collaborating with internal departments to ensure successful execution of events.


Qualifications

  • Interest in Event Planning and Event Management to support the logistical organization and execution of high-quality events.
  • Experience in Customer Service and Communication skills to engage professionally and effectively with event planners, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, particularly in on-site event environments.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and handle high-pressure situations with grace and professionalism.
  • Pursuing or holding a degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field is a plus.
  • Passion for design and creating memorable event experiences is highly desirable.


Requirements

  • Must be a current undergraduate student, or a recent college graduate.
  • Must have a drivers license.
  • Must be located in New York, New York.
  • Ability to work on weekends; daytime and nighttime.
  • Ability to travel
  • Ability to lift 50lbs or more
