POSITION: Head Custodian
LOCATION: McGee Elementary
SALARY: $26.43 - $29.19 per hour
SCHEDULE: 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday,
260 day – Work Year
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: (Qualifications which are essential to the position)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to establish appropriate rapport with students and staff
- Demonstrate exceptional service to students and staff
- Ability to function as part of school, department and district team
- Accept and carry out directions as given
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Demonstrated punctuality and an excellent work attendance record
- Demonstrated exemplary customer service and responsiveness
- Ability to submit routine paperwork and process work orders as required
- Ability to lift and move heavy items in excess of 60 pounds unassisted
- Physical ability to do required work which could include heavy and sustained lifting,
- squatting,bending, stooping, carrying, climbing of ladders and other functions that are
- difficult and demanding
- Demonstrated ability to carry out safe work practices and procedures
- Must be able to work off of all ladder heights, scissor lifts, and Geni Lifts
QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED: (Qualifications which are not required, but would be useful to the position)
- Experience in scheduling day-to-day custodial functions
- Experience in summer restorative care including scheduling of summer work tasks
- Experience in efficient use of supplies and supply management
- Successful completion of Head Custodian Training
