Part Time Operations Secretary
Start Date: On or around August 5, 2026
Hourly Rate: $18.00 to $21.00/hour DOE/DOQ
Schedule: 6.5 hours/day M-F 10:30am to 5pm (school days only)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily Operations & Dispatch
- Routes daily bus schedule changes.
- Dispatchs emergency radio communications to drivers.
- Covers unexpected driver absences quickly.
- Monitors live GPS tracking systems.
Administrative Support
- Processes field trip transportation requests.
- Maintains DMV records for drivers.
- Tracks bus maintenance and inspection dates.
- Manages specialized student transportation paperwork.
Communication & Safety
- Answers phone calls from worried parents.
- Relay bus delay updates immediately.
- Coordinates student behavior reports with principals.
- Assists with annual state-mandated routing reports.
Required Qualifications/Skills/Abilities
- Education: Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
- Tech Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience: One year of office experience
