Job Purpose
The Assistant to the MRI Area Manager supports the successful day-to-day operations of multiple client facilities. This role acts as a key liaison between MRI leadership, property management teams, staff, and clients. The Assistant plays a hands-on role in helping exceed client expectations by supporting site operations, maintaining service quality, ensuring compliance, and contributing to client satisfaction. Schedule: This position is Monday- Friday , 40h a week starting at 5pm the schedule could vary time from time.
Duties And Responsibilities

Duties And Responsibilities
- Client Relations & Communication
- Serve as a point of contact for clients and property management teams, ensuring responsive and proactive communication.
- Attend meetings with property managers and follow up with detailed recap emails.
- Support the Area Manager in maintaining long-term, positive client relationships.
- Report all client needs and concerns to the MRI Area or Regional Manager in a timely manner.
- Operational Support
- Assist in daily facility operations, including coordinating cleaning teams, subcontractors, and site supervisors.
- Ensure services are delivered on schedule and meet MRI’s quality standards.
- Monitor and manage inventory of equipment and supplies in line with site budgets.
- Substitute for supervisors or staff in case of call-outs or staffing shortages.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Participate in monthly MRI QMR quality inspections with site supervisors and document results.
- Help enforce and train staff on company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Maintain accountability for quality control and service standards at all facilities.
- Administrative Duties
- Create weekly work plans for review by the Area Manager.
- Assist with scheduling, payroll, and HR-related tasks using platforms such as Paycom.
- Track and manage employee punches, handle PAFs (Personnel Action Forms), assist in hiring/terminating staff.
- Complete and submit work orders and ensure alignment with accounting and billing deadlines.
- Training & Staffing
- Help train and mentor new staff and ensure continuous development of team members.
- Assist with staff evaluations and recommend corrective or disciplinary actions as needed.
- Coordinate onboarding and ensure site coverage during staffing transitions.
- Technology & Tools
- Use MRI software systems such as QMR, Outlook, Paycom, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) to manage tasks, communication, and reporting.
- Requires satisfactory working knowledge of all major areas of building facility and janitorial services including, facility management, work order systems, quality control systems, restroom sanitation, office cleaning, carpet care, hard floor care, equipment operation and maintenance, chemical knowledge, safety/employee PPE and SDS.
- Minimum of 1 year of Janitorial experience, preferably in a lead role
- Minimum of 1 year of direct customer service
- Professional and positive customer communication ability

- Positive attitude and team player
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
- Possess OSHA training certification and/or able to test for the certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass background check and drug testing
- Must pass Douglas BG check
