We are looking for a skilled and versatile Facilities/Property Maintenance Technician to oversee the physical integrity of our [Commercial/Residential/Industrial] property. Facilities/Property Maintenance Technician Core Responsibilities
- Routine & Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify issues and perform scheduled upkeep on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- General Repairs: Execute various "handyman" tasks including drywall repair, painting, carpentry, and flooring fixes.
- System Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair minor electrical (outlets, lighting, ballasts) and plumbing (leaks, clogs, water heaters) issues.
- Appliance & Equipment Care: Maintain and repair property-owned appliances and machinery to extend their lifecycle.
- Vendor Coordination: Oversee external contractors for specialized work (e.g., roofers, elevator technicians) when necessary.
- Facilities/Property Maintenance Technician Key Requirements
Experience: 2 years of experience in property maintenance, construction, or a related field.
Technical Knowledge: Basic proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces or varying weather conditions.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and a professional, customer-service-oriented demeanor when interacting with occupants.
Licensing: A valid driver’s license is required. [Optional: EPA Universal or HVAC certification is a major plus].
