Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all living or guest areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and supplies
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting surfaces, sanitizing bathrooms, and ensuring all areas meet cleanliness protocols
- Conduct residential cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and carpet cleaning to keep spaces pristine
- Manage laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items efficiently
- Care for floors through sweeping, mopping, polishing, and applying floor care products to preserve their appearance and longevity
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ needs promptly and professionally
- Assist with janitorial duties in commercial settings when required, ensuring all areas are clean and well-organized
Qualifications
- Proven experience in housekeeping, custodial work, or janitorial services; hotel experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and floor care methods
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment safely
- Familiarity with laundry procedures and stain removal techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor
- Basic understanding of safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments preferred; certifications in carpet cleaning or housekeeper management are advantageous
