Janitorial Project Manager
Primary Functions
- Contacts property manager daily to be advised of any problems with janitorial crew’s work
- If there are such complaints, the manager\coordinator must make sure the problem is corrected by either correcting it himself\herself or by informing the supervisor so that the supervisor can correct it
- Surveys buildings to inspect cleaning
- If he/she finds any problems, the supervisor is notified
- Instructs crew of work needing done
- Requisitions supplies and maintains inventory at all times
- May solicit new business or additional business from existing customers and prepares bids to obtain the business
- Interviews, hires, and trains new personnel
- Responds to emergencies in accounts
- Monitors the hours worked to stay within budgeted hours
- Processes payroll hours for all employees
- Responsible for regular safety trainings for employees (materials will be provided)

Additional Requirements:
- Experience of leading a team of 40 individuals (5 years preferred) including creating and managing shift schedules
- Janitorial Project Manager experience (5 years preferred)
- Job operates on a 24hr schedule so flexibility in the event of scheduled maintenance, special projects, or emergency needs is a must
