Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician III is responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems. This role involves preventive maintenance, equipment upgrades, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment, an company vehicle
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical components, including wiring, circuits, and control systems.
• Oversee equipment installations, modifications, and upgrades.
• Maintain logs, work orders, and inventory records
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies, including OSHA standards.
• Collaborate with contractors for specialized repairs and inspections.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical school or associate degree preferred.
• Experience: 5 years in industrial, commercial, or facility maintenance preferred
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical repairs.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand, and work in various environments.
• Comfortable working at heights up to 50ft or in confined spaces.
• Other: Valid driver’s license; ability to work overtime, weekends, or on-call shifts as needed.
