Crew Lead – Property Maintenance Overview
We’re looking for a dependable, experienced Crew Lead to oversee our property maintenance team. This role focuses on general repairs, improvements, and light construction across residential and commercial properties.
This is a hands-on position. You’ll be leading a crew while actively working alongside them on a variety of projects. We’re not looking for someone who just delegates, we need someone who can step in, solve problems, and keep jobs moving.
Experience in fencing, drywall, and flooring is a big part of this role and will be relied on regularly.
Responsibilities
- Lead and work alongside a crew on daily maintenance and project work
- Plan job flow and keep projects on schedule
- Complete and oversee work including fencing installs/repairs, drywall, and flooring
- Handle general maintenance and light construction tasks
- Ensure all work meets quality standards before leaving site
- Train and guide team members on proper techniques
- Communicate with management on progress, materials, and issues
- Maintain tools, equipment, and job site organization
- Follow and enforce safety practices
What We’re Looking For
- Strong background in property maintenance, construction, or handyman work
- Experience in fencing, drywall, and flooring (required)
- Previous leadership or crew lead experience
- Ability to problem solve and handle a wide range of tasks
- Takes pride in clean, professional work
- Reliable and able to keep jobs running efficiently
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Bonus Skills (Not Required)
- Trim carpentry or finish work
- Basic electrical or plumbing knowledge
- Roofing or siding experience
- Ability to run small projects independently
