Duties
- Set up and operate screen printing equipment to produce custom apparel with precision and efficiency
- Prepare screens, inks, and substrates according to design specifications and color requirements
- Troubleshoot and maintain printing machinery to ensure optimal performance and quality output
- Collaborate with the design team to understand artwork specifications, including digital design files and color palettes
- Inspect finished products for consistency, color accuracy, and overall quality before packaging
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Assist in developing new printing techniques and experimenting with different inks, textures, and finishes
Requirements
- Proven experience in screen printing on apparel or related textile products
- Strong understanding of color theory, ink mixing, and print registration techniques
- Familiarity with digital design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign for preparing artwork files
- Knowledge of fabric types, garment construction, and how they interact with different inks and printing methods
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly and perform routine maintenance tasks
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control throughout the production process
- Basic understanding of graphic design principles including typography, layout design, and visual composition
- Experience working with CAD or 3D modeling tools like SketchUp or Maya is a plus but not required
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a creative team
