We are currently seeking a Crew Leader to oversee field operations and lead a small team performing property maintenance and power cleaning services.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in quality work, leads by example, and knows how to manage a crew efficiently in the field.
Position Overview
The Crew Leader is responsible for managing field crews, operating professional cleaning equipment, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring jobs are completed safely and efficiently.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a high work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to represent our company professionally when interacting with clients.
Key Responsibilities Crew Leadership & Field Management
- Lead and supervise a small crew performing property maintenance and cleaning services
- Ensure jobs are completed efficiently, safely, and to company quality standards
- Assign tasks and manage workflow on job sites
- Train and guide team members on proper procedures and equipment use
- Maintain accountability and productivity within the crew
Equipment Operation
Operate and oversee use of professional equipment including:
- Ride-on sweepers and scrubbers (Tennant, PowerBoss, or similar)
- Commercial blowers and cleaning equipment
- Trucks and trailers used for equipment transport
Experience operating industrial floor cleaning machines is strongly preferred.
Property Maintenance Services
Crew Leaders will oversee and assist with services including:
- Exterior power sweeping
- Commercial property cleaning
- Warehouse cleanouts
- Pressure washing
- General property maintenance
- Interior cleaning tasks as needed
- Snow plowing and snow removal during winter months
Client Interaction
- Represent MRES professionally when interacting with property managers and clients
- Maintain a respectful, professional attitude on job sites
- Address customer concerns and communicate updates when necessary
Safety & Quality Control
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and job quality
- Inspect work to ensure company standards are met before leaving a job site
Qualifications Required
- Proven leadership experience managing a crew or team
- Strong work ethic and ability to lead by example
- Valid Driver’s License with a safe driving record
- Strong towing experience with trailers and equipment
- Experience operating industrial sweepers or scrubbers
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and ability to stay productive on job sites
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Preferred
- Experience with Tennant, PowerBoss, or similar ride-on cleaning equipment
- Experience in snow plowing or snow removal operations
- Experience in commercial property maintenance
- Ability to follow and enforce operational procedures
Physical Requirements
This is an active field position that requires the ability to:
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Walk, stand, bend, and work outdoors for extended periods
- Operate equipment safely in industrial environments
