Purchasing Specialist

Description

 ****Average hourly rate is $19.23 (including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, etc.)****  

Looking for someone who enjoys organization, working with vendors, and keeping purchases on track!

What you’ll do:

• Manage day-to-day purchasing and procurement needs
• Source vendors and help negotiate purchasing agreements
• Ensure orders are accurate, cost-effective, and delivered on time
• Verify products meet specifications and match invoices
• Enter purchasing data into the accounting system and assist with reports
• Follow agency policies and all local, state, and federal regulations
• Support teamwork, customer service, and culturally responsive practices

What you’ll need:

• High school diploma or GED (procurement experience preferred)
• Strong organization, communication, and basic math skills
• Comfortable using computers and financial systems
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel occasionally
