What are the responsibilities and job description for the CSAC-S/ Substance Abuse Clinician position at Mainstream Mental Health Services, Inc.?
We are looking to hire a Substance Abuse Clinician (CSAC-S) who will provide assistance in oversight of the quantitative and qualitative records review process for consumer files and assurance with contracts and licensure expectations and standards.
Example of responsibilities:
- Treatment planning
- Counseling clients in a group setting utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Communicate effectively with a wide variety of individual
- Provide prompt, efficient, and responsive services
- Analyze complex problems/crises and identify, define, and develop logical solutions and alternatives
- Coordination of services for program participants
- Initial documentation for individuals qualifying for and / or participating in services
- Attend required meetings, including, supervision, staff meetings, and trainings
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy standards in accordance with applicable regulations and laws including HIPAA
- Facilitate group/individual sessions for Substance Abuse to include PHP, IOP, Case management, and referrals.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as, entering clinical record in a timely manner, audit charts, maintain SA spreadsheets to include: admission dates, authorization requests, referrals, upcoming assessments and monthly documentation
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to (re) prioritize and multi-task is a must.
- Proficient in use of computer technology primarily Microsoft WORD, Excel and Google Suite.
- Ability to complete a variety of daily, bi-weekly, and monthly documentation, as well as data collection.
- Ability to respond efficiently and effectively in emergency/crisis situations.
- Understand and maintain confidentiality of client information, perform general clerical duties including record keeping and filing.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of an interdisciplinary team.

1. Education, training and/or experience that demonstrate possession of the understanding, competences and abilities stated above.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
