Theater Director Needed!
Eisner Camp is a well-established camp located in the beautiful Berkshire mountains in Massachusetts. Eisner is part of a network of camps called URJ, which are leaders in developing worthwhile, impactful communities to engage both campers and staff alike. The mainstages Theater Director will direct 3 productions and oversee 1 camper led showcase during the first session, followed by directing 1 2-week Cabaret and overseeing the Color War week which is a collection of scenes and immersive activities.
Responsibilities:
- Age range of 2nd - 10th grade for broken up by age group.
- Leading 1 - 2 entertainment meal periods through the Summer.
- 1 late night on-call duty per week.
- Is part of the Leadership Team and willing to help with all camp events.
- 1 day off per week, 1 period off per day. Most evenings off, with sporadic night time responsibility.
- Facilitate a curriculum that is theme based and celebrates diversity
- Attend and complete online trainings with mainstages.
- Infuse excitement in each lesson with age appropriate games and activities from the mainstages curriculum.
This opportunity is in session from June 4th- August 14th. Salary is $8580 and up to $500 travel stipend. Housing and all meals are provided.
