Job Summary:
Mainspring Recovery is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our physical properties. This role is responsible for ensuring all facilities operate safely, efficiently, and seamlessly to support clinical services and staff operations.
The Facilities Manager oversees maintenance, front desk operations, catering and food services, and other departments within the facility’s operational scope. This individual ensures work orders are managed promptly, properties are well-maintained, inspections and audits are completed on time, and all facility-related staff are properly hired, trained, and supported.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong operational oversight, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate and resolve facility-related issues before they impact care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all physical properties to ensure safe, clean, and fully functional environments.
- Manage maintenance operations, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and emergency response.
- Oversee front desk operations, catering and food services, and additional facility-based departments as assigned.
- Manage all facility work orders, ensuring issues are prioritized, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner.
- Ensure all required audits, inspections, and safety checks are completed and documented in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Identify, coordinate, and oversee vendors, contractors, and service providers as needed.
- Ensure broken or unsafe items are repaired or replaced promptly to minimize operational disruptions.
- Maintain compliance with safety, fire, health, and building regulations.
- Hire, onboard, train, and supervise facility-related staff, including performance management and scheduling.
- Develop and implement systems to improve efficiency, safety, and operational flow within facilities.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative leadership to support program needs and daily operations.
- Maintain accurate records related to maintenance, inspections, inventory, and vendor services.
- Perform additional duties as assigned within the facilities and operations realm to support organizational needs, regulatory compliance, and continuity of care.
Minimum Qualifications:
EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS
High school diploma or equivalent required.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in facilities management, maintenance, or operations.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing building operations and maintenance processes.
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or residential settings.
- Experience managing vendors, contracts, and service schedules.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Ability to lead, train, and supervise staff effectively.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory inspections, audits, and safety compliance standards.
Working Conditions
- On-site position with daily interaction across departments.
- Occasional evenings or weekends may be required to address urgent facility needs.
- Light travel between program sites may be required.
