We are looking for a kind, reliable LVN to care for our adult son (Cerebral Palsy) in our home in Livermore.
This is a low-stress, supportive environment with a great family and a wonderful patient who is fun to be around.
MOST OF THE OPEN SHIFTS ARE EARLY MORNING (4am–10am)
Early morning shifts: do not include afternoon outings.
Afternoon Day Shifts: include taking Adam on Outings.
Pay
- $45.53/hour - Paid through payroll service (W-2)
- Max 40 hrs a week can be worked per employee
Open Shifts
- Monday: 4am–10am, Day Shift: 10am–5pm
- Tuesday: Day Shift: 6am–2pm
- Wed, Thurs: 4am–10am
- Frid: 3am to 8am
- Sat, Sun: 3am -9am
What You’ll Do (Early Morning Shift)
- Repositioning and comfort care
- Trach care suctioning
- Morning hygiene, dressing, briefs
- Tube feeding (GJ tube) meds
- Assist with bowel program (use ceiling lift from bed to his toilet)
- Prepare for the day
What You'll Do: (During Day Shift Afternoon's from 1-5pm)
- Assist with daily routines and medical care
- Support Adam during daily outings using his wheelchair-accessible van (bowling, movies, arcade, shopping)
Work Environment
- One-on-one patient care (home setting)
- Supportive, organized household
- Equipped with ceiling lift system (SureHands)
- Includes interaction with family and care team
About Adam
- 40 years old, Cerebral Palsy (wheelchair)
- Non-verbal but very communicative
- Outgoing, engaging personality
- Lives at home with family
Requirements (Please Read)
- Active LVN License (Required)
- Background check required
- Valid CA Driver’s License clean DMV record
- Able to assist with repositioning (145 lbs) Height 5'8" minimum
- Reliable transportation
- Trach experience a plus (training provided)
- Must be positive, communicative, and dependable
