What are the responsibilities and job description for the INTERNAL - Support Coordinator position at Mains'l?
This is an ongoing post to allow for Current Employees to apply for the Support Coordinator position. Locations/Shifts/Wages will vary depending on availability.
As the Support Coordinator, you will collaborate with the Program Manager and Direct Support Professionals to achieve goals of the people supported while providing person-centered care. The Support Coordinator will be a role model of how direct support is provided and connecting while leading and mentoring the Direct Support Professionals.

Shift: Dependent on Location
Wage: $18.50 or $21.00 Depending on Location
Job Responsibilities
- Meal planning and grocery shopping
- Budgeting and managing household bills
- Scheduling and accompanying individuals to doctor’s appointments
- Coaching and collaboration with the team
- Provide supports tailored to the individual’s need (this may include Activities of Daily Living, responding to behavioral situations, coaching through different situations, participation in home and community activities, etc.)
- Managing and administering medications
- Documenting care accurately to ensure ongoing support
- Maintaining a safe and structured environment
Requirements
- 1 Years of DSP or Similar Experience
- 1 year of Leadership Experience Preferred
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid MN driver’s license
- Reliable transportation with valid insurance
- Ability to pass a background check through DHS
