What You’ll Be Doing:
- Offer person-centered support tailored to each individual’s unique needs — including personal care, behavioral support, and emotional coaching
- Utilize positive behavior strategies and de-escalation techniques to help navigate challenging situations
- Assist with transportation for community outings and medical appointments
- Create and maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming home environment
- Support with household responsibilities such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry
- Encourage independence by teaching essential skills like budgeting, communication, and decision-making
- Build meaningful relationships based on respect, advocacy, and trust
- Complete accurate documentation to ensure quality support and compliance
Shifts Available: Mornings, Afternoons, Overnights
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- At least 1 year of experience as a DSP or similar
- Familiarity with de-escalation techniques
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Hold a Valid U.S. Drivers license with a clean driving record
- Reliable, insured transportation
- Must Pass a DHS Background Check and
- Paid, hands-on training
