Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and experienced Aviation Catering Transportation Manager to oversee the transportation and delivery of catering supplies, meals and equipment to aircraft. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and organizational skills, experience coordinating transportation operations, and the ability to ensure timely, safe, and efficient deliveries while maintaining airport security and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

· Oversee daily transportation operations for aviation catering services.

· Coordinate the timely delivery of meals, beverages, catering supplies, and equipment to aircraft.

· Supervise, schedule, and manage transportation drivers and other assigned personnel.

· Monitor delivery schedules and ensure compliance with airline requirements and service deadlines.

· Ensure all vehicles, high-lift trucks, and transportation equipment are properly maintained and operated safely.

· Ensure drivers comply with airport security procedures, safety regulations, and company policies.

· Coordinate with kitchen, catering, dispatch, and airline personnel to ensure smooth operation.

· Monitor employee attendance, performance, productivity, and compliance with established procedures.

· Address transportation delays, operational issues, and customer concerns promptly.

· Maintain accurate transportation records, delivery logs, vehicle inspections reports, and employee documentation.

· Ensure compliance with applicable Department of Transportation (DOT), airport, and workplace safety requirements.

· Identify opportunities to improve transportation efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.

· Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

· Previous experience in Aviation catering services.

· Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.

· Knowledge of airport operations, aviation catering procedures, and airline delivery requirements is required.

· Strong organizational, communication, problem solving, and leadership skills.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as operational needs require.

· Valid drivers license and clean driving record.

· Ability to meet airport security clearance requirements.

Ability to stand, walk, and remain on your feet for extended periods, as needed.

Ability to work in a fast-faced environment and respond effectively to operational changes.

Work Environment

This position operates in an airport and aviation catering environment, including transportation areas, catering facilities, and aircraft service areas. The role requires coordination with multiple departments and adherence to strict safety, security, and delivery timelines.

Physical Requirements

· Must be able to stand and remain on their feet for extended periods of time.

· Must be able to walk, bend, stoop, and occasionally lift or move items as required.

· Must be able to work in various weather and operational conditions.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
